Lyrical

Lyrical is a dance discipline that combines elements from ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance to create an emotional evocative form of dance. Lyrical dances are often choreographed using popular and contemporary music with vocals. Lyrical is an expressive and fluid type of dance that allows dancers freedom of expression and interpretation.

Lyrical classes can be performing or non-performing. Students in performing groups will participate in Festivals and/or competitions. All lyrical classes will participate in Vanleena’s year-end recital, "On Stage."
